Another new day in the land of rainyness. It's actually sunny today though.
I start school today. Yayy. Kinda nervous though. I'm a wee bit tired lol.
Yesterday we biked to Sarah's house and to the lake and chilled on a dock. It was gorgeous, I wish I would have had my camera.
I'll write later after school.
Omggggggg. Haha that was really funny. I'm out of school now, I was only here for about an hour/hour and a half and then we got let out. I'm gonna love this year. Tomorrow I start school at 8.15 and end at 11.30. It's awesome.
I'm pretty sure that everyone here including guys, take more time to do their hair than I do, but that's not saying much...I guess they probably take more time than Laura. The only person I saw that hadn't done her hair was probably the person o saw when I looked in the mirror haha.
I met more people and learned more Norwegian names. All my classes are in Norwegian, and so tomorrow I start Norwegian class in Norwegian. Hahahahaha.
School here is a lot different here. They don't have the same classes everyday, they have diff classes every day. I have 2-3 a day.
Um I went with Sarah's friends to McDonalds. It's expensive!!! Chicken nuggets and some fries and a bottle of water cost me $14.00 CRAZYYY. We all walked. I was the slowest one with my stumpy legs. Haahahaha.
Oh at school, there isnt really a dress code. People just wear whatever they want. Its weird. Haha. Another thing is people use their cell phones all the time. We went to the Gym for instruction or whatever, and there were people answering calls. It was pretty weird. I like it though. It seems all hectic and noone knows what they're doing. But it's fun and crazy and so extremely confusing all mixed into one emotion and stuffed in me. Haha.
I am still really tired, but slept today this afternoon...A LOTTT. heehee. It was nice though.
Here is my schedual. p.s. I don't know how to spell that word.

And we use our computers at school. So in the free periods, we can do homework, or chill in the library on our computers. Oh, the library at the school is better than our Public Library at home. Haha.
There's so many things that I know I am forgetting, so I am trying to put them on here as I think of them.
I think I am going to go on a bike ride tomorrow, to just kind of see the town more. So I will try to take pictures. I really want pictures of the water. Oh, it is beautiful. I've decided Mom and Dad and Laura and Austin should come over here near the end of the year, or yeah, and we should get our family pictures done here. It's amazingly beautiful. :)

Wow! I thought the first day would be tough, but it doesn't sound like it. This is going to be very interesting...
Fun update! Thinking of you every day. Are the days already getting really short or not? I can't wait to read that you just saw your first Northern Lights. :) Hugs & love~
sounds like you are having fun now? Are things better with the homesickness and the sleeping?
have a good day tomorrow, also!
yeah!!
homesickness: no still the same at night. during the day it is gone.
sleeping: no.
love your schedule Emily. Very interesting. I love reading how it is different over there. I can't believe you are taking three language classes. It kind of cracks me up that Norwegians take Norwegian but I guess it's no diff than us taking English class, huh?
Now that I look at it closer, that is a CRAZY schedule. Wow, some classes are 2 1/2 hours long! But I bet you will really like having just a couple of classes each day. It's more like a college schedule.
